Strandhill Surf School

Strandhill Surf School is the centre of surfing in Strandhill, Sligo. We have a great location in a corner premises on the beachfront. Run by owner Paul Buchanan from New Zealand, it is a great place to learn to surf or improve your surfing skills.

SURF LESSONS

Beginners

Group lessons giving you a good introduction to the basics of surfing.

Intermediate

Ideal for people who have had lessons before. Improve on your basic skills & take them to the next level!

Kids

Every Sunday at 10.00am and every day thoughout the summer holidays. Also check out our summer camps (see top of website for details).

Private Group

Ideal for special occasions! A great activity for large and small groups where all surfing levels are catered for.

• All our instructors are qualified in surf coaching and trained lifeguards
• Our instructors have plenty of surfing experience and will always be in the water
• The ratio of instructors to students is 1:8 with more instructors added if required
• Changing rooms are available for before and after the lesson
