In August 2006 the team visited the devastated area in Java and together with MUM Bali helped some of the locals to receive medical care and essential treatment. Whilst there, the team watched as the first of five schools was built. The “Strandhill Kindergarten” was finished within months and the team were soon back in Ireland with new energy, raising funds for subsequent schools.

Whilst in Indonesia, Dave recorded and produced a documentary that enabled the team to relate the hardships that the Javanese people faced.
