Strandhill will be home of RTE’s 2FM on Monday 7th July as the Tubridy show rolls into town for an outside broadcast organised by Fáilte Ireland. The Discover Ireland promotional event will be focussing on the Wild Atlantic Way and encouraging Irish holidaymakers to get out and discover the wonders of the west coast touring route. The Roadcaster will be parked on the promenade adjacent to Strandhill Surf School.
The outside broadcast is part of a wider Discover Ireland campaign focusing on the Wild Atlantic Way including a 60 second ad currently broadcasting across Ireland’s cinema network. The campaign also includes print and broadcast advertising which will be accompanied by a dynamic new social media campaign.
Looking forward to Tubridy’s arrival, John Concannon from Fáilte Ireland said:
“We are delighted that Ryan has decided to come to Strandhill as part of his tour along the West coast. The Wild Atlantic Way is one of our most ambitious tourism projects ever. Over the last 18 months much focus has been placed on showcasing the route to potential visitors overseas and now we need to ensure that Irish people who are considering holidaying at home over the summer months are fully aware of everything that the touring route has to offer.”
